So during novel group discussion we talked about the cover, so my opinion is David is the duck and Cathrine is the fish because he's not normal like the rule "no toys in the fish tank" he's the toy and the fish tank is sort of like social Interaction or like the places that are part of his life others would wonder that there's something wrong with him and he shouldn't be here he should be in a place where people go with that stuff because that's sort of the stereo type people think if you act drastically different than others mental then you belong in a mental hospital so (and for people who oppose because the duck has eyelashes and looks feminine that's a stereo type everyone has eyelashes)for the thing that Cathrine is the duck because she's the one telling the rules to David thats a good point but then she wouldn't belong so that's just my thoughts! :O)

So I'm thinking that cathrine is also saying the same thing as ryan in a way just in a different form because Ryan said he was a retard but cathrine said she wishes he would wake up one day and be cured so I will continue this post later

YAY new book!

Hi people !  My thoughts are, that so far Cathrine seems controlling over her brother, because I don't think she understands fully what her brother is going through, It's not his fault its genetics, and some of the rules she gives him are actually very hard and some don't seem like they're for David, but herself like "you have to work with what you get "and part of it kind of could be more about David but it seems that its directed to Cathrine and she wrote these rules herself which shows that she's controlling herself not just David and she also seems like a perfectionist a little bit like trying to make David perfect when he's not, no brother is and when meeting the new girl she needs every thing to be perfect too like the barbecue they were suppose to have . But back to the controlling she wanted the girl next door to be like she Imagined Morse code with flashlights and coming over every day but the only thing preventing her from having normal friends was David that's why she's so controlling .
