195-196
Well I think a very interesting page is 195-196 I think I like the last stanza the best (for your information a stanza is an arrangement of a certain number of lines, usually four or more, sometimes having a fixed length, meter, or rhyme scheme, forming a division of a poem. Basically a verse)I personally think its really powerful so here it is "My father's digging his own grave,he calls it a pond, but I know what he's up to.He is rotting away, like his father, ready to leave me behind in the dust.Well,I'm leaving first." I feel that this occurrence was like her last straw with him like he's done a lot of thing like wishes she were a boy and that's been a problem since she was born and then he left that pail of kerosene and that caused some problems then when his wife was dying (which he caused)he left a little girl with burnt hands to take care of her so if I was Billie Jo I would hate him the funny thing is by leaving she forgives him.WELL, what do you think and thoughts or Ideas?
